TRUE AIM IMPACT
Make recovery
measurable.
Turn a supplier manifest into a purchasing and recovery plan. Analyze certified refurbished inventory, review the evidence and compare impact scenarios using published references.
Analyze your manifestCERTIFIED REFURBISHED INVENTORY
From manifest to decision.
Analyze CSV inventory in your browser. Files and purchasing prices are not uploaded or saved to the site. Download a report to keep the result.
Export Excel manifests as CSV. Required columns: model and quantity. Optional columns: condition, certification_ref, warranty, unit_cost, expected_sale_price and weight_kg.
A placement forecast, separate from refurbishment status. Remaining inventory stays unplaced in this scenario.
Purchasing assumptions
USD. A unit is a complete kit when the manifest lists a kit model. Add inspection, storage and other direct costs to handling as applicable.
Carbon reference and assumptions
Routers and cable modems use the 61.4 kg ADEME gateway reference. Mesh systems and access points use 91 kg manufacturing per Cisco CW9166I access point, once per physical device. These are unvalidated comparison proxies for NETGEAR, not model footprints. Other families need a suitable reference.
The starting percentages and recovery burdens are demonstration assumptions, not measurements. Include upstream brand refurbishment. All recovery burdens apply to the full manifest quantity; kit burdens scale by device count. Supplier certification alone does not establish additional carbon savings caused by True Aim.

Projected batch contribution
| Model | Quantity | Supplier condition | Warranty | Planned placement | Mass | Carbon scenario | Contribution |

Contribution uses forecast sales less the full lot purchase cost, selling fees, return reserve, delivery and handling. Unsold inventory has no assumed proceeds. Overhead and tax are excluded. Sample prices are fictional; manifest prices are supplied by you.

EXAMPLE PROGRAM
50 devices.
Another chapter.
An internet gateway recovery scenario. Quantities, weights and recovery inputs are examples; this is a demonstration of reporting, not completed True Aim results.
Planned for reuse
40 devicesOut of 50 received in this example.
Product mass to recirculate
30 kg40 devices at 0.75 kg each. Packaging excluded.
Estimated avoided emissions
484 kg CO₂eUnder the assumptions shown below.
Account for the whole batch.
A report follows the whole batch, including products that have yet to return to use.
The remaining 10 devices have no assumed destination. Repair, return or recycling would be recorded separately with evidence.
What a supplier report includes
- Product models, batch references and condition
- Intake and return to use records
- Product weights and evidence coverage
- Calculation inputs, sources and assumptions
How this example is calculated
Potential production avoided is adjusted for how often reuse replaces a new purchase and how much equivalent service the reused product provides. Recovery burdens are then subtracted.
| Input | Value | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Devices returned to use | 40 | Example outcome |
| New purchase replacement | 50% | Scenario assumption |
| Equivalent service | 50% | Scenario assumption |
| Production reference | 61.4 kg CO₂e per device | ADEME / ARCEP generic internet gateway |
| Batch processing | 100 kg CO₂e | Example burden for the full batch |
| Batch transport | 20 kg CO₂e | Example burden for the full batch |
| Additional use emissions | 10 kg CO₂e | Example difference from the alternative |
40 × 0.5 × 0.5 × 61.4 − 100 − 20 − 10 = 484 kg CO₂e
The production reference includes manufacturing, assembly and distribution. It is a generic French market gateway reference, not a NETGEAR model measurement. The service adjustment is a simplified scenario. A different product needs an appropriate reference.
The emissions figure is a scenario estimate, not a certified offset or carbon credit. Missing inputs stay visible; any modeled increase in emissions is retained. The full report explains the scope and limits.
FOR YOUR INVENTORY
Put your inventory
into the recovery plan.
Define the inventory, commercial terms and reporting scope for your program. Track product counts and mass from the available evidence, and add emissions estimates where suitable inputs support them.
For projectors and other electronics, emissions estimates need a suitable product reference and recovery data.
